Klick Communications Hawaii, globally anchored with offices in Sydney, Los Angeles and Honolulu launched 2017 with the appointment of three celebrated industry executives to its Oahu office. The reorganisation is under the leadership of Kim McKay, Founder and President of Klick Communications.

Tannya Joaquin is a 25-year broadcast news veteran with an award-winning career as an Anchor/Reporter from California to Hawaii and News Producer in two of the nation’s top markets, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Joaquin is a familiar face around Hawaii following 15-years as a lead anchor and trusted voice on Hawaii News Now and KHON2 News. She earned an Emmy nomination for her work uncovering an environmental disaster in Honolulu Harbor and continuing coverage on tourism impact. Joaquin’s communication savvy extends to new and emerging media. In 2009, she had the instinct and foresight to become the first Hawaii Anchor to incorporate social media into newscasts. In her most recent role as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for The Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival, Tannya has increased media exposure and elevated branding for the State’s largest food and wine event. While overseeing the Travel and Lifestyle portfolio for Klick, Tannya will continue to drive publicity for the 2017 festival.

Vanessa has spent the majority of her career at IMG Fashion, a division of WME|IMG. As a global Vice President at IMG Fashion, Vanessa worked on high-profile fashion and media events around the world, including New York Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks in Sydney, Los Angeles, Miami, Berlin and Tokyo, as well as events in fashion-forward destinations globally. Over the years, Vanessa has managed strategic fashion relationships with beauty brands such as SEPHORA, Smashbox Cosmetics, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Maybelline NY, TRESemme, essie; luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz, W Hotels, The Raleigh South Beach, The Hollywood Roosevelt, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, American Express, Moët & Chandon; fashion and jewellery brands such as LYCRA®, Swarovski, Ipanema, Judith Ripka, CIRCA; and media brands such as The New York Times, Teen Vogue and Ocean Drive Magazine. Tahiti Huetter has built an exciting portfolio producing content and compelling visual narrative for some of the world’s biggest beauty brands over the past 8-years. The Kailua native moved to New York City in 2013 to work in media production with L’Oreal, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Estée Lauder, Condé Nast Traveler and more. In 2016, she returned to Hawaii to help grow the brands she grew up with such as Buzz’s Original Steak House and Saint Francis School. Tahiti has quickly built a reputation as the go-to content creator for several of Oahu’s leading innovative brands including Olive & Oliver, KAI Luxe, Ginger & Koi, and Wings Hawaii. Her background in graphic design and photography inspires her work, bringing compelling beauty to diverse brands as the Content Specialist for Klick Hawaii.

Tanden Hayes brings a decade of business sales, marketing, consulting and creative innovation working with Hawaii’s industry leaders to Klick Communications. Born and raised in Hawaii, Tanden’s passion for business development started early during his high school days at Punahou School and led him to work with a tech company in Silicon Valley and Victoria BC, Canada before he decided to return home to Hawaii to launch his own business. The self-described serial entrepreneur started a successful event production company and mobile app development business. He taps into his professional experience in hospitality, sales, events, retail and consulting to pinpoint other business owners’ needs for a global public relations company with a proven track record in traditional and digital communications.
